Etosha
Experience:
"I think Etosha should be named 'the smile of Africa' because
that is what she is. I experienced such a positive atmosphere the
time I stepped in and I will treasure the memories for a very long
time. I learnt a lot form the Presentation by the Managing Director
of Namibia Wildlife Resorts, Mt Tobie Aupindi about the turn-around
strategy and why it was necessary. The team spirit in the staff is
outstanding. It was a wonderful impression. I am by the way studying
to become a tour guide and I think I can make a contribution to
attract more tourists to Namibia. We can do a lot through tourism.
We can generate money to feed our people, orphans and vulnerable
children and send our kids to school. We can buy medicines for our
people who are infected by HIV/AIDS. There are so many opportunities
at hand. It was the first time for me to see an elephant and it was
a giant prize for me. I cannot wait to finish my studies to become a
tour guide." |
